New England Association of Christian Schools Educators’ Convention 2025
The American Association of Christian Schools (AACS) is partnering with the NEACS regional leadership to plan the NEACS Educators’ Convention in 2025. Every NEACS member school teacher and administrator can enjoy two days of encouragement and professional development! Teachers will be encouraged and will bring new and practical ideas home to make their classrooms and your schools better places for student growth!

Schedule
The schedule will include two Keynote Sessions (opening and closing) and eight workshop opportunities with eight options for each breakout.

Presenters
Convention leadership is already putting together a schedule and we think your teachers will be excited about the presenters who are coming to share with them. These presenters are already confirmed. Check back for more information as additional presenters are added.
Pastor Keith Wiebe—Keynote Speaker and Leadership
Pastor Wiebe will share with us in the opening and closing general sessions and will also lead workshops for pastors and school leaders. Keith is the pastor of Grace Gospel Church in Huntington, West Virginia. He is a sought-after speaker for youth events and conferences. Keith serves on the AACS Board of Directors and as the president of the West Virginia Christian Education Association. Keith comes from a family with a legacy of Christian education leadership. His father, Keith Sr., served as the president of the AACS from 2004 to 2016.
Dr. David Warren—Technology for the Classroom
Dr. Warren graduated from Calvary Baptist Academy (Midland, MI) in 1992 and now serves as the school’s secondary principal. He has a desire to see Christian education effectively use all the tools available in the 21st century to train the next generation. In addition to serving as secondary principal, David is also the discipleship pastor at Calvary Baptist Church. He has been instrumental in keeping CBA ahead of the curve implementing technology in the classroom. He is Google Certified and holds many other education technology certifications.
Mrs. Cindy Hall—Dyslexia: Facts, Identification, and Strategies
Mrs. Hall designed and served as the director of the Dyslexia Center at Lindsay Lane Christian Academy (Athens, AL). She is a graduate of Faith Baptist Bible College with post-graduate work in special education at Iowa State University and training in the Orton-Gillingham approach for dyslexic learners from AOGPE Fellows. She has 17 years of classroom teaching experience and 12 years of experience working specifically with dyslexic learners, who inspire her to educate teachers everywhere about dyslexia and how to teach dyslexic students.
Ms. Heidi Malmanger—Upper Elementary and High School Math
Heidi graduated from Maranatha Baptist Bible College in 1996 with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics education, and she earned an MEd from Maranatha Baptist University in 2016. Named Wisconsin Association of Christian Schools’ 2011 Secondary Teacher of the Year, Ms. Malmanger speaks frequently at AACS teacher conventions. Her high school classroom is characterized by her enthusiasm, and she enjoys tutoring and mentoring young teachers.
Mrs. Ann Marie Rill—ELA
Ann Marie Rill serves as the Academic Dean for Veritas Baptist College. She is a popular workshop presenter on several subjects but will focus on a core of ELA topics for this conference. Ann Marie has experience as a high school teacher, college librarian, college professor and leader.
Dr. Montel Wilder—Creation Science
Dr. Wilder is well known to most of you as the president of the Massachusetts Association of Christian Schools and the pastor of Grace Baptist Church in Pepperell, but you may not know that Dr. Wilder has presented lectures on creation science at numerous conferences in the U.S. and overseas. This fall, he’ll bring those fascinating presentations home to the NEACS Convention.
Pastor Dave Stertzbach—Music
Pastor Dave Stertzbach received a B.Mus. in Church Music with a Voice Proficiency and an M.A. in Church Music with a Choral Conducting Proficiency from Bob Jones University. He served as music pastor of Trinity Baptist Church in Williston, Vermont, for 11 years. He currently serves Tri-City Baptist Church and International Baptist College in Chandler, Arizona, where he displays a passion to pastor God’s people through music. Pastor Dave will present music education and choral workshops and will direct a conference choir!
Mrs. Rebecca Stertzbach—ELA, Speech, Office Management
In her almost 30 years of teaching, Rebecca has taught all age groups, from toddlers up through college. Currently, she serves as the executive assistant at International Baptist College and Seminary in Chandler, Arizona, also teaching in the English, Speech, and Education departments. She has a passion to impart to students the necessity and urgency of clearly communicating the Gospel message. Her workshops for this conference will include ELA, speech, school plays, and office management.
Mrs. Christina Miller—Classroom Management and Care for Hurting Students
Mrs. Miller teaches in the Education Department at Bob Jones University. She has earned a Master of Special Education degree as well as a post-graduate certificate in Human Learning and Development. She has had multiple experiences in K-12 private and public schools throughout the years and has been in Christian higher education for the past twelve years, in both teaching and student support roles. For this conference, her presentations will focus on classroom management and care for hurting students.
